Lyle Alzado's death on the news, 1992

Here is a news clip on Lyle Alzado's death and his message against steroids. Alzado is probably most remembered today for being one of the first major U.S. sports figures to admit to abuse of steroids. In the last years of his life, as he battled against the brain cancer that eventually caused his death at the age of 43, Alzado asserted that his steroid abuse directly led to his final illness.

Lyle's death brought steroid use to the forefront of the news and on the day of his death a news team came to the gym I trained at, Paradise Gym, Miami, FL. They did a short interview with me at the end of the clip (please don't make fun of my glasses, LOL!) Sorry about the video quality, this tape has seen better days.
